Takayuki Morimoto Premier Cup: Tokyo Verdy 2003

Takayuki Morimoto

Morimoto was voted MVP at the first MUPC World Finals, in Portland, and made Japanese football history by becoming the youngest ever player to make his debut in the J League, just 2 days short of turning 16-years-old. Tokyo won the match 2-1, with Morimoto scoring the winning goal. He won the J-League Rookie of the Year award in 2004. Morimoto has spent the past three seasons with Calcio Catania in Italy’s Serie A.

Jun Tamano Premier Cup: Tokyo Verdy 1999

Tamano was so impressive for the Japanese team that Atlético de Madrid lured him to experience European football for a year before returning home. He now plays for Thespa Kusatsu.

Shingo Nejime Premier Cup: Tokyo Verdy 1999

Nejime progressed to play for the senior team before moving to Yokohama FC.

Yugo Ichiyanagi Premier Cup: Tokyo Verdy 1999

Ichiyanagi also progressed to the senior team, gained further experience with Sagan Tosu and currently plays in the J-League for 2nd Division Vegalta Sendai.
